Baby is Here!

I apologize for not posting the past few days - I was a little busy HAVING MY SWEET BABY!

I'll be back to a more normal posting schedule soon - there was no internet at the hospital.  We are home now and doing well!

Order Coupons plus ExpoTV

Good morning!  Make sure you check out my recent posts about the Kmart super doubles event this week and save yourself some serious money.




MyCouponHunter has coupons posted from the 4/4 P&G BrandSaver!  Make sure to order those you'll need for the rest of the month right away!  The $4 razor coupons and Bogo Head and Shoulders coupons will go fast!

Do you like getting stuff for free?  I sure do.  Do you have a digital video camera or a webcam?  Do you like to give your opinions about products?  If all of those are true, ExpoTV may be right for you!

I'll admit that it has taken me awhile to really warm up to this site, but I am hooked.  I had 2 main problems. 

1. I didn't realize there were limits to how many video reviews were awarded points and would wait til the last minute and then take my time making the best video I could (not that I'm suggesting you make a poor video).  I wouldn't check to see if the limit had been reached prior to spending my time on the video.
2. I had a lot of trouble with my photobooth application (how I use my webcam) and got tired of getting out the regular digital camera and editing and transferring the video.  I now just record in iMovie and have not had any more problems.

Why am I hooked?  It is really easy to get points quickly and cash out of great prizes!  I am over halfway to a $25 iTunes gift card without much effort.  How can I get points?

• Get points by taking quick surveys - usually 10 points - to see if you qualify for assignments.
• Get points by uploading videos.  Please note that you do not get points for just ANY video you upload.  Certain assignments have point values attached plus certain items are needed for review so you can get points without an assignment - more details on this below.
• Most Wanted Products - these products need reviews!  Points are awarded for approved videos for items in this section.  There are thousands of items so search around and see what you can review!
• Tryology - ExpoTV hosts a Tryology program that is super fun.  Take a survey to see if you qualify for an assignment.  Tryology will send either product or a coupon for free product.  Try and then create a video and get your points and keep the free product!

Just for signing up, you get points:

• completing profile = 25 points
• connect with facebook = 10 points
• uploading first video = 500 points

So, what can points get me?  

There are a bunch of prizes for just over 500 points so it is really easy to cash out!  Get a music download for just over 100 points!  For 600 points, cash in for a $5 amazon card.  The list goes on!

What do you have to lose besides a few minutes of your time?  Videos are usually around 2 minutes long and there are great tutorials to help you make a good video that will be approved.  Take a few minutes, sign up, and give ExpoTV  a try!

Things to look for:

Walgreens - roll those Register Receipts today if you can - there aren't many good deals over the next few weeks.

CVS - Keep your eyes peeled for two things.  First is the Green Bag Tag.  Pay $.99 for this tag.  Have the tag scanned each visit that you bring a reusable bag.  After 4 visits, earn $1 ECB!   I bought mine last night.

Second is the Season to Save booklet.  This booklet is chock full of coupons including a coupon for $4 ECB when you spend $20.  I haven't found these in my store yet, but I'll keep looking.

Offers and Money Making Opportunities:

• Focus Forward Online: This company has both surveys and focus groups.  I have completed surveys and have applied for focus groups.  I have gotten call backs but just haven't qualified yet.  The plus about the focus groups - they pay well.  The most recent one I applied for would pay $75 for an online bulletin board.
• Opinion Outpost:  My favorite survey company.  They now pay immediately (once you reach $5) to Amazon for gift cards so you no longer need to wait weeks for a check.  I did an in-depth review on my review blog.
• SheSpeaks: This is a great program where women get to try products and share with others.  I just got accepted into the Ghiradelli campaign where I will be sent free chocolate plus a ton of coupons to share!
• Winster: If you like playing games online, why not play them and earn money at the same time?  I reviewed this on the review blog as well.
  

ExpoTV

Do you like trying new products?  Do you like giving your opinion about things?  Do you like making videos?  If so, ExpoTV may be for you!  I just recently signed up and am excited about all the upgrades to the program in the past few weeks. 

With ExpoTV, members upload video reviews of products.  You can choose to review any product or you may review a product as part of an assignment.  Assignment reviews offer incentive points for completion.  Incentive points can also be earned by answering questions by other members on products you own and have reviewed, uploading videos, referring friends, and taking surveys.  You can also enter monthly giveaways.

ExpoTV also offers the Tryology program.  Members are selected, after taking prequalifying surveys, to receive free products to try and review for points.  I took 2 prequalifying surveys today: one for a 100-calorie snack, and one for a blu-ray player! 

I have only been with this company for about a month, but I am excited at the potential.  I love giving my opinion and the videos are super easy with my macbook.  The point levels for rewards are low, so you can redeem your points fairly early compared to other companies.
