The Fam
I love reading blogs and learning about the authors. Here's your chance to learn a little about us.
The Hubs:
Hubby and I met in college. We dated for two years and were engaged for one. He was very romantic and proposed with a song he wrote for me. He then arranged that same song as the processional at our wedding. We actually got married ON my college graduation day. I went to the small departmental ceremony (Hubby was supposed to be there as he was getting one of his 2 degrees in August, but he didn't want to see me before the wedding). The graduation pictures are all of me looking like a deer in the headlights! I do NOT recommend getting married on an already busy day! Anyway, we've been married now for nearly 10 years and each year gets better. We've moved around a lot but think we're settled for awhile. He is a music professor and professional musician. I am also a musician though I get to stay home with our kids! I love my hubby! He is a fantastic provider, a wonderful husband, a great father, and a strong man of God.
Me:
Well, there was a lot about me in the part about my hubby. Some other things - I taught music for 9 years and am thrilled to be able to continue making music now that I am staying at home. I love my career as a homemaker although I struggle - a lot - since it is such a big job!
Buggy:
My little man was born just a month after we moved across the country. I am unbelievably blessed to get to be his mom and to get to stay home and care for him. I love him so much!
Baby:
We gave birth to our second little boy this past spring! We don't have a nickname yet. Scrunch was his nickname for awhile because he did the cutest little scrunchy-best-stretch-in-the-world thing when we picked him up, but that doesn't seem to fit anymore. Maybe we'll go with Bullfrog since he is HUGE and has almost launched himself out of the bathtub with his froggy jumps. We shall see!
Berta:
Our furbaby. She is about 8 or 9 years old - a rescue dog. Man does she have her quirks, but we love her! It is really hard to get pictures of her because she thinks that the camera flash = lightning = the end of the world. She and Buggy are great friends and partners in crime already.
