Coupon Preview, Last Minute Printing Coupons, Ordering Coupons

**** Facebook Giveaway*****
Click through to the Facebook fan page and check out the discussions.  There is a coupon giveaway going on right now!

Be on the lookout for a high dollar Nivea coupon - some regions will be getting a $4 off one Nivea item coupon!  These products are often part of great deals at CVS, Target, and Rite Aid!  You may want to see if you can order some - not all clipping services will have them - you can check ebay as well if you chose to go that route.

With that said, here is a preview of coupons for this Sunday's paper.

Photobucket

Check out MyCouponHunter for coupons - new coupons should post by Saturday afternoon if not earlier.  I have been quite happy with her service.  She is quick to respond to questions via email!  Why order coupons?  Check my post in the right sidebar for more info.

Today is the last day of the month!  Print any coupons now - most should reset in the morning (not all reset print limits - many do) plus you'll find new coupons listed!

I want to point you to a post I did on my Rediscovering Domesticity blog.  I posted about a fantastic organization that provides free wheelchairs to those around the world who desperately need them.  One wheelchair costs just $59.20.  I have pledged to try to raise enough for 3 wheelchairs over the next few months.  Please join me - every penny helps.  I have set up a donation page through the Free Wheelchair Mission to raise these funds.  I do not see a single penny - it all goes directly to the mission.  Join me in blessing others!

YouData, Swagbucks, GIVEAWAY

It's Thursday which means it is time to check your YouData accounts for ads!  Remember that ads are saved through the week and by spending just a minute on Thursday, you can view all of your ads and get paid Friday into PayPal!  Some weeks I have a lot of saved ads, some weeks, none.  This week I had none.  Boo.  That's ok!

For those of you new to YouData, it is a simple system where advertisers pay you to view their ads.  You simply sign up, fill out some information on yourself, and log in weekly to view the ads sent to you.  Now, when I sign in, I need to sign in twice - the first time it pops up as being incorrect information even though it is correct.  I don't know why this happens (could it be because I have my username/password saved through Firefox?) but it happens.  At least I can log in!  Now, this isn't a fast way to make money, but it adds up over time.  I use my money to order coupons!

Search & Win

Tomorrow is the end of the month, so it's time to redeem those Swagbucks in the swagstore!    If you have enough saved up for a prize you'd like, redeem them now - gift cards are posted mid-month and at the end of the month.  Note - you can redeem 2 prizes per day and only 5 of the same prize per month.  I redeem mine for $5 amazon gift cards because when you do the math, it takes fewer swagbucks per dollar than most other prizes.  Want to know more about Swagbucks?  Check out the details from my previous post!  Also - every Friday is Mega-Swagbucks Friday, so get ready to start searching!

Lastly, I am hosting a giveaway for Facebook fans only!  Click on over to get the scoop and enter to win an envelope of great coupons!  Giveaway lasts until May 1 at 8pm eastern!  Check out the "Discussions" tab on the fan page!

Fraudulent Coupon

As you all know, I am a stickler for using coupons correctly.  We can all win and save money when we play by the rules.  Those who don't are causing companies to issue fewer coupons or stores to stop taking certain coupons.

I wanted to post a heads up about a fraudulent coupon that has been circulating the web.  Please do not use this coupon - it is not legit.  Stores that take this coupon will not be reimbursed.  It is coupon fraud and it is illegal.

Pass this info along to your friends so that word spreads and this fraudulent coupon stops being circulated so we, who use coupons legally, can continue to get great deals!

I posted just a portion of the coupon so that nobody would misunderstand and try to print and use it!  Check out all the details on snopes about this fake and illegal coupon.

EDIT -

I had to post another fraudulent coupon that is out right now - this one just made me smile.  It is a total example of how some things are just too good to be true!

Oreos and Mother's Day

Make sure to click on the Facebook fan page for Oreos to play a scratch and save game for their Fudge Cream cookies!  If the link takes you to the main Oreos fan page, click on the tab for Oreo Savings.  Yum!!!

Mother's Day is coming up quickly!  I keep thinking that it would be really cool if this baby stayed in until Mother's Day - what a gift that would be!  How do you plan to spend Mother's Day this year?

Anyway, here are a few deals for Mother's Day.  Start now so you don't find yourself forgetting at the last minute!

Proflowers

What mother doesn't love fresh flowers?  You can't beat this deal from ProFlowers!

You have a few days left in April to get your free HotPrints photo book.  Make sure to make yours before the month ends and make ANOTHER one for free at the start of May!  No gimmick, just a page of ads slipped in to the front of the free book - very easy to remove (a slip of paper, not a bound photo page) before gifting!

Coupons, Freebies, and Upcoming Deals

Are you a nursing mom?  Do you plan to nurse?  Would you like a FREE nursing cover?  Udder Covers is offering up one free cover - pay only shipping.  I have heard that these are fairly thin - worth the $9.95 shipping but not full price.  Just enter the code "child" at checkout.  I will say that over a year ago, there were complaints about incorrect charges on cards, but those issues seem to have been resolved - just keep an eye on your charges.

Try an instant win game to win a free calling card in honor of Mother's Day!

Get set for summer - print coupons for Coppertone products.  Scroll down and look at the bottom right corner for the coupon.  Rumor is that there is a high print limit per computer.  Let me know how many you print!

Do you like Olive Garden?  Print this coupon for up to $5 off your entrees!

It's time to prepare for a GREAT sale on Cover Girl makeup at Rite Aid!  Starting the week of 5/2, Cover Girl makeup will be Buy One Get One FREE.  To get it ALL free, get your hands on some Buy One Get One FREE coupons from a recent insert.  My Coupon Hunter has these for $.25 each, so when you use one of these coupons, the coupon reimburses the store the cost of one product while the store chose to have a sale to give the other free.  You use the coupon and get TWO products for free (or for just the $.25 from My Coupon Hunter).

You DEFINITELY want to order coupons QUICKLY - as word of this sale gets out, clipping services will begin running out of coupons and ebay auctions will become quite expensive.

To make this Cover Girl deal sweeter, P&G is offering a rebate where when you buy $30 of P$G products, you get a $30 coupon book and the Cover Girl products are included!

Deals I Would Do This Week - 4/25/2010

Since I am still sequestered to my house (I'm 35 weeks pregnant now and hardly any contractions!!!), I can only dream of the deals I would do.  I wanted to highlight a deal or two at the stores in our area that I would definitely do this week!  Maybe YOU can benefit from these deals!

DIAPERS!
Target has diapers on sale this week - Huggies and Pampers Jumbo packs are on sale for $8.99 and when you buy 3 packs, you get a $5 gift card.  That means, without any other coupons, after the gift card (you have to wait to use the GC until another transaction though), your total would be $7.23 per jumbo pack.  Add in some coupons for extra savings!  I have gotten many mailers with $1.50 off Pampers plus have seen them in recent inserts.  Also, Huggies put out the $3/1 pack coupons (expire REALLY soon, so use right away) and there have been coupons in recent inserts.  My Coupon Hunter has both Pampers and Huggies coupons in stock (though to get the Pampers before they expire on the 30th, you may want to do a rush order - she ships from FL).  ALSO, Target recently offered a $1.50/1 pack Huggies coupon that can be stacked.  It is not available for print right now, but keep your eyes peeled in case they offer this one up again.  View all Target coupons here.

Fig Newtons are on sale for $1 this week at CVS.  Become a fan of Fig Newtons on Facebook and get a coupon for $1 off Fig Newtons making them FREE!

Pampers jumbo packs are printing $1 extra care bucks on jumbo packs (limit one).  $8.49 sale price minus $1 ECB = $7.49 - any coupon you have.....

Schick Quattro - $8.99 with $4 extra bucks.  There is a $4 coupon in this week's Smart Source insert which would make this $.99 after coupon and extra bucks.

Rite Aid brand Tugaboos diapers and overnites are on sale for $7.99/jumbo pack (36 diapers in size 3 pack) and qualifies for a $2 rebate.  Limit one.

Desitin and Johnson's baby products - $1 in-add coupon that can be stacked with the $1 coupon from this week's paper.

From Common Sense with Money.  The $5 SCR makes it a MONEYMAKER!
There is an upcoming deal on Aveeno Lotion at Rite Aid.  This deal starts 4/25 but it includes a coupon that’s currently available.
Starting on 4/25 there will be a single check rebate offer: Get $5 back when you buy three Aveeno products. Then, next week there will be a Rite Aid in-ad coupon for $2/1 Aveeno.  Here’s how to combine the coupons and the SCR to make money on this deal:
Buy three Aveeno Lotion 2.5oz $3.49 each
Use three $2/1 Aveeno in ad coupons
Use three $1/1 Aveeno Daily Lotion or from 4/24 SS insert
Pay $1.47 after coupons

Get $5 back via SCR wyb 3 Aveeno

Check out the STORES tab to print off your copy of the Rite Aid coupon policy if you plan to stack coupons - the policy is very clear and lately it seems that there has been more confusion than normal with Rite Aid staff as they implement the Wellness Card across the nation.

Sunglasses and Rite Aid Rebates

Hi all!  Posts may be few and far between - my computer is sick.  I can use our desktop but can't do the steps multiple times per day to get to it.

So, a couple deals for now!

With summer coming, you'll want to make sure you have enough sunglasses!  I know how easy it is to misplace them - especially how quickly kids' sunglasses disappear.  Well, here's a solution.  Graveyard Mall is offering 10 pair of kids' sunglasses for $14.99 shipped!

Rite Aid's Rebate Program for May has started and runs through May 29th.  Check out all the great offerings.  Make sure to note the dates for each offering - some are good for a week, some for a month, some longer.  Here are a couple good deals (especially with $/$$ coupons and manufacturer coupons that may come out) with the rebates.  Remember, you can use coupons in addition to the rebates.

What is Swagbucks? Swagbucks is a google-powered search engine that pays users back a percentage of advertiser income in "swagbucks." These "bucks" can be redeemed for great prizes. I always get the $5 Amazon gift card since it is the lowest ratio between swagbucks and dollars. Since April 2009, I have received just about $200 in Amazon gift cards! I have one card pending and have enough swagbucks to cash in for another!

How can you earn bucks?

* Web searches through the Swagbucks website, search bar, or toolbar
* Referrals - when a friend signs up under you and wins a buck searching, you win too! You win each time your friends win for their first 100 swagbucks

How Online Coupons Work - Individual Privacy

Coupons Inc.

I had a friend send me an interesting link about online coupons.  I encourage you to take a peek and see what information companies can gather just by your coupon use.  I also want to take a few moments to explain in more detail how these online coupons actually work.

First of all, there are many ways to obtain printable coupons.  It is possible for the way you obtain the coupons to be coded into the coupon itself.  The coupon can contain information about what printing source was used and what searches were done to find that coupon.

Each online coupon (unless a pdf version is released by the manufacturer) has a unique number code and unique bar code (which is why photocopying printed coupons is coupon fraud and a big no-no).  Stores will be reimbursed for the coupons with unique codes and will not be reimbursed for fraudulent coupons.  Many stores have decided to not accept internet printed coupons due to this risk.  Yet another example of how the misdeeds of a few negatively impact everyone.

I encourage you to keep using internet coupons.  I am honestly not all that concerned about information printed into coupons.  If you are concerned, make sure you print from sites that do not require registration so that you can limit the information available to encode.

Here are many coupon printing sites. Some sites may seem to have strange web addresses.  There is a simple explanation.  For some companies, I am an affiliate.  I promote the coupons they stock (which I use quite regularly) and in turn receive a very small compensation that helps to support this site.  The strange looking web addresses are simply the affiliate links with my information in it so I get credit.  If you aren't comfortable using these links, simply copy and paste the regular address into your browser.  I have noted which ones require registration:
  • coupons.com - no registration required but offered
  • redplum.com - no registration required
  • smartsource.com - no registration required
  • couponbug.com - not available in all areas, registration required to print
  • shopathome.com - registration required. Receive $5 in account upon registration and receive small (pennies) cash back for each printed coupon that is redeemed plus get $5 for each friend referred who uses this program.  Once balance reaches $20, you are mailed a check.
  • mypoints.com - registration required.  Earn points by shopping online, redeeming printed grocery coupons, playing daily spin and win game, taking surveys, reading emails, and contributing to frogponds.  If you are a BzzAgent, you earn mypoints for completing BzzReports.  Points can be redeemed for gift cards.

Free Song, USPS Samples, Coupon Hunter Code, Free Magazine, and more

First of all, I want to know what you as a reader want to see on this site!  Check out my poll on the right sidebar to have your say.

Make sure you grab this free download offered by Seeds Family Worship - check out this awesome website as a resource as well!

USPS is unrolling a new program that offers free samples by mail.  Just click through and enter your information in the short survey.  We didn't qualify, but you might!  Let me know if you do!  In case the link doesn't work, just copy and paste into your browser: https://secure.startsampling.com/sm/101145/

Pampers Dry-Max Buzz

So, as I was surfing around the internet today, I stumbled across hub-bub about the new Pampers Dry Max diapers.  According to many moms who previously used Pampers, once they switched to the Dry Max diapers, their babies developed severe rashes very quickly.  These rashes often bled.  Some babies were diagnosed with chemical burns.

You can read more details through this Reuters article

I am curious what all of you think about this.  I am not brand loyal when it comes to diapers.  I get the diapers that cost the least.  I currently have more Pampers in my size 4 stockpile than anything else and more Huggies in my small size stockpile - it's just how the deals have worked out.  I also received a bunch of diapers from a surprise shower a few weeks ago.

I have been leaning more towards Pampers lately mainly because of company standards.  I really like a lot of the positive things that P & G has been doing across the board - especially providing clean water to underdeveloped countries.  I was Huggies loyal for awhile, but the more I read articles posted on their website and in emails from them (articles written for various magazines), I haven't been as pleased.  Many articles are spouting completely inaccurate information - mainly regarding breast feeding - that can seriously confuse new moms.  Yeah - I get worked up over things like this and tend to hold grudges against companies!

I will say that I have not knowingly used the Dry Max diapers.  I have never had problems with Pampers or Huggies or Luvs (or store brands).  I DID do a product trial a few months back for a survey company about Pampers diapers.  I had 2 packs to try and evaluate.  Neither pack gave us any problem.  I feel there is a good chance at least one of those packs contained Dry Max diapers.

Curious? Try them out for free - click over to the Pampers website to request a free sample.

What is your take?  Have you had any problems with Pampers Dry Max diapers?  Huggies diapers?  Disposables in general?  Cloth in general?  Why do you use the diapers you use?  Cost?  Environment?

Let's discuss!
